City officials file personal financial statements

Mayor Mike Watson was the only city official to report a gift — a duck-hunting trip to northeast Arkansas last December.
State laws require elected officials to report all their holdings, sources of income, gifts and other financial statements. Members of the Planning and Civil Service Commission are also required by law to file similar statements.
Elected Officials:
Brodie Michael Watson, otherwise known as Mayor Mike Watson, in addition to his city salary, listed his wife's salary as a minister's assistant at the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Little Rock and a retirement IRA. He also listed the gift of a Jonesboro duck-hunting trip from Novasys Health in December valued at $600.
JaNan Arnold Davis, city attorney, reported income from the law firm of Rainwater, Holt and Sexton, legal work for Corporate Transit of America and her husband John's work at Camp Robinson with the State Military Department and his outdoor work with Blue's Productions.
Joshua L. Clausen, city clerk, reported only his city salary.
Clifford Burch Johnson, former mayor and current alderman, reported rental income as owner of CBJ Properties and CB Johnson Properties, owner of Summit Manufacturing Co. in Indianapolis, rental income as owner of Versailles Investments in Madison, Ind., retirement income from Social Security and Merrill Lynch as well as his alderman's salary. He serves as vice president of Summit Manufacturing.
Anthony Todd Brainerd, alderman, reported his income as a financial advisor with Edward Jones Investments in Little Rock and his wife's personal business in addition to his alderman's salary.
Jan Hogue, alderwoman, reported her Social Security retirement, income from Exit One Realty, Crye Leike Realtors and her alderwoman's pay. She also listed her husband's retirement income.
Douglas Randall Ladner, alderman, reported his retirement income along with his alderman's salary. He also reported that he was on the Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services board as well as chairman of the Waterside Improvement District, a property owners special improvement district.
James Clay Medford, alderman, in addition to his city salary reported his income as a program specialist with the United States Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency and his wife's salary as a medical technologist with Little Rock Diagnostic.
Brenton S. Witonski, alderman, in addition to his city salary, listed income as a software configuration manager for Acxiom Corp. in Little Rock. He also reported that he's the secretary of the board for Deep Wells Ministries in Conway.
Elizabeth Ann Adams, elected alderwoman as Liz Adams, reported her income as a financial services worker with Raymond James Financial Services and insurance commissions as an agent for Unum Life Insurance Co. She said she was an executive board member for the Arkansas Independent Living Council.
James H. Stell Jr., known as Jamie, listed his alderman's salary and his retirement benefits with Merrill Lynch and MetLife as well as extensive investment holdings.
Planning Commission:
Adrian Harold Greene reported his income as a line repairman with Entergy and his wife's salary as a case administrator with the United States Bankruptcy Court.
Wallace H. Wyeth listed his income from Blaylock Threet and his wife's income from the University of Central Arkansas, but he didn't list any job titles. He also reported income with Goodtime Vending.
Robin S. Green listed no sources of income for herself or her spouse.
John William Todd reported his income as a customer service technician with AT&T and his wife's work with the same corporation.
Craig Allen Johnson, listed income as a civil engineer with CDM and his wife's work as an administrative assistant with Case Management Inc. and as a supplemental education provider with FDDOC in Shreveport, La.
Michael H. Fisher reported his income as a senior vice president for commercial loans with National Bank of Arkansas and his bank investment holdings with his bank, Bank of America and Chambers Bank in Danville.
Julie K. Kierre, listed sales income from Brundage-Bone Concrete Plumbing and holdings with Kierre & Kierre, LLC.
Civil Service Commission:
Paul D. Elliott, reported his retirement with Union Pacific Railroad and work at the William Jefferson Clinton Library as a member of its security team.
James Stephen Shroyer reported retirement from Union Pacific Railroad and his wife's employment with Transamerica Worksite Insurance and each's Social Security benefits.
John Walter Chapman listed retirement from JC Penney Co., his work at the Arkansas Livestock Association and his wife's work as a staff assistant at the Oasis Church in Maumelle.
John Edward Shield reported only his retirement benefits from the Social Security Administration and the Army.
Billy Herrington reported his work as a commodity broker with Price Risk Management Group Inc., and his wife's position as a human relations specialist with the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service.
